The 21 marched on a beach in their chains
Their cowardly captors behind
The captors can't even reveal their own faces
Wearing clothes black as their minds
The Islamist cowards now brandishing knives
With nothing but hate in their heart
These Martyrs now know what fate will await them
Under the Libyan Sun

21 Martyrs
All clothed in orange
Defying their captors!
Proclaiming that Jesus is Lord!

Their holy blood runs down and out to the sea
Filling each tide pool with red
Their captors stand over their now lifeless bodies
The Martyrs face first in the sand
The enemy gloats of their terrible deeds
Proud of the terror they've done
But the souls of those Martyrs are free from their chains
And under the Altar of God

The 21 saints now lie dead on the beach
But they are the ones most alive
Transformed now in Glory they now live in Christ
For they've won Eternal Life
The Islamist cowards will one day face judgment
Unless they repent in their heart
And they will be judged by the blood of these Martyrs
And by our Lord Jesus Christ
