Chasm Of Belief I look through the eyes of the unorthodox To see a light that shines so clear A stigma of my ideal dogma Where gods don't play a role I write the book A bible of my own doctrines Close it to the world So I can reap my own destiny And I descend In a chasm of belief For I will rise to a blind world Once created, a superficial dictator, hallowed god Made to help on swallow their wrongs, and think they've lost their demons Oblivious is what they are, they remain unforgiven Lusting in ignorance, and bathing in emptiness You may dub me the anti-christ And never realize what I live by My intentions can compare, but are shot on sight And leave me to be chasted by the mirage of Nazarene I wrote my rules, but would dare not preach For that would contradict to my prophecy I'm as pure as you, but embody something stronger For I am not afraid of what may come.
